PATHS GRADUATE HIGHLIGHT: AVERIE LANE CLASS OF 2019

01/05/2024

Since 2019, PATHS graduate, Averie Lane, has been very busy!  Upon graduation, Averie has completely immersed herself in caring for children both at the daycare where she works and as a traveling nanny.  Averie now has her own babysitting business that has really taken off. The word has spread throughout the community about the amazing level of care that she provides for each child that she is responsible for.

Averie shared, “Now my babysitting business is growing and it’s going really great!  I babysit from age 5 to school age kids, it is so much fun and it keeps me busy.”  Averie shared that she recently bought a new car, has made some amazing friends at her job, and is really looking forward to her upcoming vacation to Hawaii soon.  Even with her active life, Averie keeps the children in her care at the center of her thoughts saying, “I love the kids most.”

The PATHS Certificate Program works in collaboration with the Institute on Person-Centered Practices and Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living.
